How to add IPTV channels to IPTV Smarters Pro app

You can add IPTV channels to IPTV Smarters in two methods:

1. Setup via Xtream Codes API 
2. Setup via Playlist

We recommend setup via Xtream Codes API because you will have Catchup feature this way and also do not need to add any EPG url (it will load automatically).

Setup IPTV Smarters via Xtream Codes API 

Step 1: Install the app on your device from here.

Step 2: Open the app once downloaded and click on “Add user” then click on “Login with Xtream Codes API“.

Step 3: In this step, in the first box, select any name you want for example “IPTV Xtream”. On the second and third box, enter the “Username” and the “Password” of your M3U line and the server URL which can also be found on your M3U line. 
The progressive IPTV providers give you a dashboard which you can access your M3U url in dashboard. 
How to find Server Address, Username and Password?
Please note Server URL is different for Samsung and LG Smart TVs

Now Click on “ADD USER” to proceed to the next section.

Step 4: Wait some seconds.

Step 6: Now you must select the channel group that you want to watch and proceed to the next section.

Step 7: Now you must click on the channel name and then double click on the small screen to turn into full screen as the final step.

How to add IPTV channels to TVIP Box (New version)

If you have new TVIP boxes like 605, 615 you can use this tutorial, but if your boxes is a older version like 410 you need to update the TVIP box operating system or Use tutorial for old versions.

Step 1: After run the TVIP box and set the primary setting like language and time, Start from the main menu and go down to see the “Setting” and click on “TV” as depicted in the below picture.

Step 2: Now change the Content source to “Web portal” and click on “Setup Web portal“.

Step 3: First change the API Mode to “MAG” then on the “Portal URL:” enter your portal server address (you can ask for this info from your IPTV distributor) and click on “Apply” and “Restart“.

Note: If you don’t have “MAG” API in your setting use “GSTB” API.

Now you must insert your device Mac address to your IPTV dashboard or simply give it to your IPTV distributor. What is Mac address?
The progressive IPTV providers give you a dashboard which you can add MAC to your line yourself on dashboard.

Note: You can find the TVIP box MAC address on the back of the box.

Step 4: After restarting the box in the main menu click on “Watch TV“, you must wait for the portal to load your playlist. This might take a few minutes.

Step 5: As you can see the channels will pop up automatically and you can select any desired channel and start the streaming.

How to add IPTV channels to TVIP Box using M3U url

In Step 2 of the above tutorial change the Content source to “M3U-playlist” and click on “Setup M3U-playlist“.

Enter M3U url which you receive from your IPTV provider here and click on “Apply” and “Restart“.

How to add IPTV channels to TVIP Box (Old version)

Step 1: Start from the main menu and select the “Setting” as depicted in the below picture.

Step 2: Now on the right menu select the “TV” icon and then on the right side change the Content source to “Web portal” and click on “Setup Web portal“

Step 3: Now on the “Portal URL:” enter your portal server address (you can ask for this info from your IPTV distributor) and click on “Apply“.

Activation of the Trial period

Step 1:  From the app market on your smart tv search, find and install Smart STB App.

Add or Change Portal address on Smart STB

Now that the app has is activated, we need to input an IPTV source from a provider of your choice. From the device info page of the app, find Virtual MAC address and send it to the IPTV provider. They should register the MAC address on their system and provide you with a stalker portal URL. Once the portal URL is received, you can add the Portal address in 2 ways:

Add Portal directly on app

Just like the first time we did it above at the beginning of this tutorial, right after Loading Portal sign shows up, press enter. Then go to Smart STB Settings.

Now choose Portal as we need to input the portal URL. You can ask for MAG portal from your IPTV provider.

For Name 1 type the desired name for the main portal and in URL 1 input the URL you have been provided by the IPTV Provider you are subscribed to. Once done, press Save button on the remote controller. Going back to the preceding page, Restart Portal must be selected.

Next time you start the app, IPTV portal should load with bouquets and details of IPTV service ready to be used.

Add Portal on Smart STB website

To upload playlist by link go to the Content section of the app’s settings, choose External playlists subsection and click Add button below the screen. Enter desired playlist’s title and the link of your playlist in corresponding fields and press Save button. The playlist will be available on the Main Screen through a separate tile.

Step 3: To upload a playlist with non-permanent code go to General subsection of the app’s settings and press Get code button. The non-permanent code can be used only 24 hours (or till new code is generated)

Step 4: Enter received code at this URL http://ss-iptv.com/users/playlist and press Add Device button.

Step 5: When the connection was made select playlist file in your PC and upload it by pressing Save button. The internal playlist will be available through tile My playlist on the Main Screen.

New uploaded internal playlist replaces the older one.

Please follow these Steps:

1- If you can download the APK file of SIPTV application try to reinstall it. Install SIPTV in Samsung Smart TV

2- Generate a new password for M3U url and reset your playlist on SIPTV website.

3- Reload new updated M3U in siptv.eu .

Some Important tips:

• Use dynamic M3U Url and do not use static M3U downloaded file.
  This way you will always have all new updates of url.
  
• Try TS format of M3U url  instead of HLS format. What is M3U list?

How to setup IPTV on a MAG device

Step 1: When the box is being loaded the main portal screen appears. After that click on “settings”, press remote button “SETUP/SET”.

Step 2: Then press on “System settings” and click on “Servers”.

 Step 3: Select “Portals”.

Step 4: In the “Portal 1 name” line enter the following ” IPTV “.

How to Change the Portal Address

Turn off the box and remove its power line, then unplug the cable between the box and the router.

Turn on the box without the cable to the modem.
Wait until you see the “Loading Portal” on the screen.
On the remote control press the “SET” button.
Go to the Settings and press “OK“.

Press the “SET” button on the remote control again.
Go down to Servers and press “OK“.

Go to the Portal 1 URL and delete ALL the text (to delete use the back button on the remote).
Press the “KB” button on the top right on the remote. It is like a keyboard picture.
Enter the new portal address.
Press the “KB” button on the remote so the keyboard goes OFF the screen, go down the bottom of the screen and select “OK“.

Step 1: Download the M3U url which provided by the IPTV provider.

Step 2: Copy/paste this static M3U file to a USB storage.

Step 3: Insert the USB storage to your MAG.

Step 4: Once mag box shows the login screen click on embedded portal.

Step 5: Click on Home Media.

Step 6: Scroll down and click on your USB.

Step 7: Find and click on the M3U file in the USB storage.

Step 7: Click “Open”.

Step 8: A window will appear saying *Open playlist* , Now use F3 (yellow button on remote).

Step 9: The m3u file is added to the IPTV section of the Home Media section.

Step 10: Use “Back” button to return to the portal page and to “IPTV channels”

Now everything is ready to start watching Live TV…

How to update Firmware of the MAG box

Disconnect the MAG box from the internet.
Reset the MAG box.
Wait until you can see the “Page Loading Error”  on the screen.
Plug-in the Internet cable to the box.
By selecting the Embedded Portal, the box will be updated with the latest version.
If the automatic update does not start, press the SET button on the remote, select “software update”, press OK and then press the F1 button.

Some of the MAG devices lose the portal settings after updating the device to the latest version of system software and this will not allow the clients to add any portal addresses to the device.

In this method, we will teach you how to downgrade the system software to the latest version via a USB drive.

How to update MAG via USB

In order to update STB from System settings via a USB:

Step 1: Make sure that your USB drive matches the requirements.

Step 2: Download the required SW image file (imageupdate).
Note. Latest version of Factory SW image is accessible on manufacturer’s server: http://update.infomir.com/mag/<model>/imageupdate (<model> – number of STB model). For example, for MAG322: http://update.infomir.com/mag/322/imageupdate

Step 3: Createdirectory mag<model> in the root of the USB drive and write “imageupdate” file to this directory. For instance, for the MAG322 directory name: mag322.

Step 4: Connect prepared USB-drive to STB. You can use any USB connector of STB: both rear or front.

Step 5: Open Settings⇒ System settings ⇒ Software update.

Step 6: In Software update window set Update method = USB. You can see two new strings:

• Disk – name of USB-drive;
• Path – Path to update file on the USB-drive.

Step 7: Select Verify (OK) to make sure that STB can detect “imageupdate” file.

Step 8: If the file is detected and readable successfully you’ll see Software Update window.

Step 9: In the Software Update window displays descriptions of the firmware versions: the Current version (operating in STB) and New version (available on a USB drive).

Step 10: Select subsequent operation after comparing Current and New versions:

• To reject update push Exit.
• To start update push Update (F1).

Step 11: The status of the software update is displayed by the progress bar and comments. To view the log of update user may push Show log (Info on RC).

Step 12: Wait until the update process is complete. After completing the update, the STB automatically reboots.
Note. Do not turn off STB and plug off USB drive until the end of the update.

How to setup a MAG box?

STB blocked (Black Screen)

STB blocked on MAG happens for various types of reasons. we are going to make a list and explain all of the possible reasons.
Note: Recently in some MAG boxes we have only a Black Screen instead of STB blocked error message.

MAC address didn’t add to the subscription or Removed

For MAG boxes it’s necessary to add the box MAC to the IPTV subscription. What is MAC address in MAG devices?
Privileged IPTV providers give you a dashboard to can edit your IPTV subscription, in the dashboard you can add the MAC or check if it’s still on subscription or not.
And if there is not any dashboard, need to contact IPTV provider about this case. 

Adding a wrong MAC address

If you somehow by a mistake add a wrong MAC address to your IPTV dashboard, there is a 100% chance you might see this error on your screen.So we highly suggest you double check every character and number you added to your panel from the back side of your MAG device.

Line expired

If your IPTV subscription is expired, you will face the STB blocked (Black Screen) error on your screen. So head back to your IPTV dashboard and double check if your subscription is expired or not and extend the line if it’s expired.

Line disabled

IPTV providers block (disable) the subscriptions which use in more than allowed devices simultaneously. So should check the line by IPTV service if it has been blocked or not.

ISP blockage

One more reason that STB blocked (Black Screen) error might occur is ISP blockage. In this case, we suggest you contact your Internet Service Provider and ask for further information. You can also try with another internet connection such as a 4G connection from your phone to make sure about this issue.
The last solution for ISP blockage is using a reliable VPN service, but please note that for MAG boxes you need special router to install VPN on it.  

Adding a wrong portal address

Exactly identical to the first reason, if you add a wrong portal address to your MAG box, there is a 100% chance that you might see this error again. Now find out the correct portal address by asking from your IPTV provider and it to your MAG device. How can I change the portal address in the MAG box?

Page Loading Error

Mostly this problem occurs because of a problem in internet connection.

On the Page Loading Error Screen, it will say “Ethernet Link: UP” if all is ok or “DOWN” if the Ethernet port is not connected to the router. In addition, it would be possible that your Internet connection does not work well, so you have to check whether Internet access is available.

How to solve this Issue

Firstly this error usually occurs as a result of the lack of Internet connection to the setup box. you need to be sure that the Ethernet cable between your STB and the router is plugged.

The LAN light on the router port which is connected to the back of your STB has to be lit. Also, check the connection on the back of the setup box itself, there should be 2 lights on the connection itself where the cable is plugged into the setup box, one orange and the other is green.
If either the light on the router or the lights on the STB ports do not lit, there should be a connection issue and it is highly recommended to change the Ethernet cable.

If even after these changes the problem still exists, the next step is to unplug both the router and setup box power cables. After unplugging, plug back the router power cable at first and after two minutes plug in the STB power cable.

If your router places in one room and your setup box is in another room and connected to the router via the Ethernet line, please check the lights on the sockets. If this is not lighted, the power line has lost its wireless connection to the router and you will need to reboot both the router and then the power line.

Once the light is back, you have to reboot the setup boxtoo. If the light is lit and the STB is still stuck on the loading screen, you need to make sure that the power line has the LAN light on the front.

Sometimes when the users try to switch a loading message appears on the screen. This issue can be tackled by rebooting both the modem and the STB.

They support 4K stream resolution,
Also with 2G RAM they have one the most Powerful Hardware in MAG boxes.

Conclusion

Due to the support of both M3U and portal address and improved hardware quality, MAG 351 will be the best MAG box manufactured to date. If you are looking to purchase a new setup box, MAG 351 can be the first choice.
As we mentioned the production of this model stopped by infomir but can be find in market yet.

For the second choice you can buy MAG 324w2.

How to bring IPTV channels to Kodi

Installing Kodi is astonishingly simple. All you need to do is to download Kodi, double-click on the Kodi image and then perform the setup wizard. It’s that simple! Step 11: Now paste your EPG URL and click “OK“.
You can get EPG url from your IPTV provider.

Step 12: Click on “Enable“.

Note: After you enable the add-on you will see “Disable”, this means the add-on enabled so do NOT to click on “Disable” again.

Step 13: Head back to “TV” and click on “Channels“.

Step 14: Wait until you see the notification about updating channels and the installation process is over.

Well done, you have IPTV channels now.

Is there an official Kodi app for Smart TVs?

The answer is no. However, many smart TVs run on an Android-based operating system and that means you can install a Kodi Android app on these TVs. The installation might be a little difficult and some TVs might not even have access to Google Play Store so that means the only option you got is to sideload Kodi to your Smart TV via a Flash Drive or a Memory Stick.

Make sure your TV supports Android in the beginning. First, we talk about Smart TVs that have access to Google Play Store, then, we talk about the ones that don’t have access. 

Smart TVs with access to Google Play Store

This will make things very easy and you can install Kodi on your Smart TV in a matter of minutes.

• Go to the Google Play Store app on your smart TV.

2. You will be presented with different choices here, you must select the one that is most suitable with your TV hardware specifications.
3. You can find more information from your TV manual or the website of the manufacturer. 
4. Save the .apk file on your local storage and copy it to a flash drive or a memory stick and connect it to your Smart TV USB. 

Installing the .APK file on the TV

At first, please make sure that you enabled install from “Unknown Sources” from your TVs settings. Otherwise, the installation will start on your TV. Now use the “File Manager” of your TV and go o the location of your flash drive and click on the .APK file you just download.
After a few seconds, the Kodi will be installed on your TV and you can start it from the Apps list of your TV.

TVs without Android!

If your TV doesn’t support the Android operating system, this means that there is no way that you can install Kodi directly on it. However, there is still 2 way to enjoy the benefits of Kodi on your TV.

Starting the device for the first time

Before plugging in the power, be careful and check the correct power. If you own 2 or 3 setup boxes, you have to plug the power cords in separately. If you plug in the wrong power source, the power supply of your box will break. Start to set using the below steps. Connect the power and the HDMI. This will automatically turn on the box. You can see the pairing LED light with red light and blue light on the front of the box. Once your box is starting, you can see our logo for 1 or 2 minutes.

Setting up the box

If you want to adjust your setup box, first you should set the basic options then you correct server option. Otherwise, you can’t set the server and see the VOD. Before setting the server, try to set several steps.

Connecting to WiFi

To connect the wireless network, go to the setting section. Click the ‘Wifi’ menu and you can see your wireless network. How to add IPTV channels to AVOV

How to add IPTV channels to MyIPTV Player App

Step 1: Start by downloading the app from the Microsoft store, Xbox live store, or Windows phone store and start the application once it is downloaded.

Step 2: Go to the “Settings” and select “Add new playlist and EPG source” and proceed to the next step.

For older LG Smart TVs, the audio track can only be “pushed” in the playlist (for streams only, not VOD!). Otherwise, stream audio language is automatically picked depending on the Audio Language Settings (1st Audio) on your LG Smart TV.

Before establishing a connection, you must make sure that you have got a working internet connection, a router that supports PPTP, and a VPN account. A VPN connection does not work on an ISP modem. In order to make your VPN connection work, you need to connect another router with your modem.

How to setup VPN on DD-WRT router

Step 1: Create an ethernet connection or a wireless connection from your router to your computer. Follow 1a if you are connecting Ethernet router and 1b for wireless connection.

Step 2: Click on the Basic Setup tab of the DD-WRT router. You can see a window with several entries. From the Connection Type drop-down menu, choose the PPTP.

Step 3: For the Use DHCP option, choose Yes.

Step 4: In the Gateway (PPTP Server), type the name of the server that you want to use (You can obtain a VPN connection from an online VPN shop) and write Username and Password in the relevant fields. In the additional PPTP option field, write refuse-eap.

Step 5: Now you must navigate to DHCP Server and make sure that it is enabled. Click on Apply Settings and then click on Save.

Step 6: Now you must go to the menu bar and click on Status and then click on the WAN tab. Click Connect in order to connect to your VPN provider.

All older Vu+ hardware set-top boxes are MIPS-powered, newer are all ARM-powered and uses Enigma2 image-based software as firmware. Its firmware is officially user-upgradable, since it is a Linux-based computer, as opposed to third-party “patching” of alternate receivers. Firmware is based on Enigma 2, which was originally designed for Dreambox by Dream Multimedia.

How to add IPTV channels to Enigma2 via autoscript

Step 1: Start by downloading the necessary items. DCC_E2 (Dreambox Control Center for Enigma2). You must connect to your Enigma box using Dreambox Control Center E2 and click on “Telenet“. But first, you must find the IP address of your enigma2 box. We will discuss this further ahead in this article.

Step 2: To connect, we need to know the box IP address, username, and password (username and password usually is root/root). Now about the IP, click Menu button on the remote controller. Go to Setting then Network Settings. You should see something like the below image:

Step 3: Once connected to your box via Dreambox Control Center, it`s time to execute the Autoscript command which should be provided by your IPTV provider. These scripts can be given in two versions:

• – OE1.6 version which uses Python 2.6: It is advised to use this version on non-Dreambox receivers.
• – OE2.0 version which uses Python 2.7: It is advised to use this version on Dreambox receivers.

So for our Dreambox of this example the command line should be like this:

wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh "http://tv.yourdns.com/get.php?username=your-line-username&password=your-line-password&type=enigma216_script&output=ts" && chmod 777 /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

Copy/paste this command line on Telnet Terminal and hit enter.

Step 4: We suggest everyone to reboot the device once you execute the Autoscript command. To reboot the device just write “reboot” on Telnet terminal.

Step 5: After the Reboot, you will see on Bouquet list a new Group called “IPTV”.

Caution: RAM is something that IPTV relies on as IPTV players buffer the video first and then plays it. Openbox v8s has moderate ram and CPU, therefore after switching channels, or sometimes without any reasons, Openbox may crash. We just want you to drop your expectations while using IPTV on your Openbox IPTV Player.

The well known IPTV Player app on Openbox v8s is called WebTV. You just need to import an m3u file using USB flash drive onto your Openbox v8s and the job is finished, but there are two ways that you can do this setup. The first method is a common way, uploading the file from the WebTV app menu. When that method doesn’t work or you don’t have the “Read By USB” option on WebTV App page, the m3u file must be uploaded through Upgrade page located on Tools menu of Openbox. What is M3U?

Recommendation: We suggest you rename the m3u file of your m3u line into WebTV.m3u meaning if your m3u file is like “name.m3u” you simply change “name” to “WebTV” and leave the format be as m3u. The WebTV app reads m3u files with WebTV.m3u name properly.

If you have any problems viewing the Channels we recommended that you restart your Openbox and Wi-Fi Router.

How to add IPTV channels to Openbox

Step 1: Follow these tasks: 
1-Connect the USB containing the Web.m3u file
2-Open Menu
3-Move right all the way to “Multimedia”
4-From the list choose “WebTV”

Step 2: If there are channels already on that list, make sure that empty by pressing the green button: Del All. Now press the yellow button to “Read By USB” then the channels will appear.

Step 3: If you don’t have the yellow option ” Read by USB”, go back to the main menu and select “Tools”.

Step 4: Now select “Upgrade By USB”.

Step 5: On the next page, change Upgrade Mode to “Misc Files” and from the bottom of the list choose “Select & Upgrade”. Now press OK on it.

Step 6: From the window that pops up, select “WebTV.m3u (Web Stream)” and you must make sure a green tik appears on the right side. Afterward, press the yellow button to Upgrade.

After the process is done, you will see a message saying “Upgrade Finished. Press Info Key for Result”. Now press exit twice to head back to the main menu and from Multimedia open WebTV app and the channels will appear on the list.

Combining an App to your Plex structure is easy. First, you must install the App, start it and see it as it discovers the Plex servers on the network. The server transmits the App details about your personal media library and its ready to watch. The excellent thing about this part is that, when the server is installed correctly and is up and running, you don’t need to take any extra steps. It actually needs a few seconds to get the App identify the contents and play them.

Centralized Control

Holding all your contents stored by a central server indicates that you have a singular place to control your media content collection. You have the ability to add new movies, or simply edit the poster picture being used for your beloved TV series. Every feature of the server is controlled via the Plex Web App. It operates in a web browser from anywhere in your house, therefore you don’t have to be at a particular place to contrive your media library. When a modification is performed, it’s instantly available to all the Apps in your house without taking any further actions.

Keep Record of What You’ve Watched

How to bring IPTV channels to PS4 using Plex

Step 1: Start by downloading the Notepad++ and Install it to move to the next step.

Step 2: Now proceed to https://www.plex.tv/ and create an account. As we stated in the above article, with plex you can stream movies, music, and pictures from your computer, but this guide will going to focus on IPTV for PS4.

Step 3: After creating your account, go to the “Downloads” section and look for “Plex Media Server” and download it.

Step 4: After downloading and installing Plex, you can go ahead and launch it.

Step 5: Now you need the IPTV plugin for Plex. You can download the IPTV plugin for Plex by clicking here.

Step 6: After extracting the folder, you must paste the whole folder (IPTV.bundle-master) in this location:

C: /users/"your computer username"/AppData/Local/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins

Step 7: After extracting the zip file, you will see a subfolder called contents, inside that folder, there is a file called info (.plist). Do a Right click on this file and select the option “edit with Notepad++”, you will notice this image:

Step 8: Now you must remove the bold section of the line:

and leave only

<string>UseRealRTMP</string>

 just like the below image:

Step 9: Enter the folder “Contents” and open “resources”. Here you must download your M3U playlist and replace it with the playlist file which already exists in this folder.

Step 10: Move back to the folder “IPTV.bundle-master” and rename it to “IPTV.bundle”

Step 11: The PC part is done for now. Turn on your PS4, open the store and search for PLEX and download it.

Step 12: After downloading and launching Plex on PS4, you need a code to sign in to your account which you can go to https://plex.tv/link and enter it.

Step 13: As the final step, open Plex in your computer and then in your PS4 in order to watch the channels that you added earlier.

Please note:
*The Plex needs to be opened all the time on your computer before watching the channels in your PS4.
*Don’t forget to close and restart PLEX on both PC & Playstation after updating the playlist.m3u inside the resources folder.
*The channels are also available to stream on your phones & tablets through the Plex app on your PC.

Step 1: In order to add your M3U URL, start by clicking on “New Playlist” and then select “From Internet(by URL)”.
